Speak to any married couple and ask them about their wedding day and chances are they’ll tell you it was over far too quickly
With this mind, 2 Little Ducks Wedding Videography was established to capture all the emotion and excitement of your special day on film and create a time capsule of moments for you to cherish.
After tying the knot themselves in August 2014, James and Becki Hinchcliffe embarked on an exciting new chapter by combining their talents to create 2 Little Ducks.
And to give you an insight into their dedication to their profession, James even filmed elements of their own wedding!
“Its all about catching moments that couples don’t get to see or are so busy enjoying themselves they simply can’t recall everything,” said Becki.
“We film in a natural non intrusive way using multiple cameras, professional audio equipment.”
It’s an exciting time for 2 Little Ducks, who in addition to Becki and James, have just appointed a second videography assistant to join their talented team.
They’ve also recently been granted a commercial licence to film aerial footage by drone.
“Our drone is great for getting shots of crowds and looks amazing for churches and castles where you can have it circling the steeple or grounds.
“It also looks amazing for confetti shots.
“Drone footage gives that wow factor, it’s something that you don’t expect to see.
“We did one recently for a Tipi wedding at our clients parents’ home and not only did it look amazing for the wedding but they also had aerial footage of their parents’ home which was an added bonus.”
2 Little Ducks also have other cameras including a Go Pro and 360 camera which give a greater variety of shots and are included in most packages.
“We also have a 360 camera and a GoPro which aren’t chargable extras just additional ways to get great unusual footage.”
2 Little Ducks offers a range of wedding video options to meet couples needs.
“We have a lot of requests to simply film the ceremony but we have found that couples are now looking to day coverage where we can film everything.
“Once couples have booked and paid a deposit that secures their date. We send a questionnaire out 6-8 weeks before checking for surprises, so we know if, for example they have singing waiters popping up, we’d be in the best possible spot to capture their reactions.”
So what makes 2 Little Ducks stand out?
“We don’t do ‘cookie cutter’ weddings.
“Every wedding is unique and this is reflected in your wedding video.”
“James is the more creative one in his filming and editing and I’m the one who handles the admin side and gets us organised, as well as filming myself.
“It works to have a male and female shooters, especially on the morning of the wedding for filming the bride and groom preparations.
“Being married does mean we can be in sync and we have developed this bizarre sign language as we obviously can’t talk when we are filming, but we know how to communicate. It’s just something we’ve developed and we work well together.”
2 Little Ducks packages start from £550 for a half day filming which includes scene setting, guests arrival, full ceremony a highlight movie and a 20 minute feature movie.
They are based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire and cover Yorkshire and the North East.
