Lambton Castle provided a stunning location for Belle Bridal’s ‘Secret Garden Party’ wedding fair last month.
Formerly known as Lambton Lion Park and the filming location for the BBC’s period drama The Paradise, Lambton Castle welcomed brides to discover their dream wedding suppliers in a unique and magical setting.
And we’re lucky enough to share some great images from one of the events exhibitors, Northern Star Tepees.
Their self-styled tepees come with an option of ‘shabby chic’, vintage or ‘boho’ style.
And for those who like the idea of getting closer to nature but still seeking a good nights sleep, the tepees also have high quality memory foam mattresses, with the choice of king size, double, or single beds.
Florianne Humphrey explains: “Northern Star Tepee is based on the Sibley tent, invented by the American military officer Henry Hopkins Sibley in 1856.
“We’ve made a few adjustments that suit the modern traditional camper but it is essentially the same bit of kit.
“Tried and tested over the years by some of the world’s most intrepid explorers this tent design is rugged, practical and well…just super cool!
“Each tepee comes with our own styling, created from products that we source ourselves.
“As we’re a family run company, we can be more flexible, so we consult with the couple as to how they want to style the tent, so they get their own personal touch.”
And Florianne tells us that for couples who order the ‘bridal tent’ it comes with a free ‘dressing tent’!
She added: “We also sell tepees, dining tents, and other camping products including firepits.
“Our 3m children’s tepees that are great for the garden or for children to hang out during a wedding or special event.”
