With upcoming cooler weather and the winter season creeping upon us, many couples who are planning to get married during this part of the year may be wondering what trends are popular for weddings in the wintertime.
With that in mind we thought we would introduce you to a few of the things we found buzzing inside of the bridal and wedding industry:
Soft to Bright White or Christmas Lights
These are always a classy and timeless look, whether they are in fad or not. While Christmas lights have been a staple of this season for many years, the white or “snow” bulbs are gaining more appearances as well.
Extravagant Floral Blooms
The various types of flower arraignments that brides are accessorizing with are getting more gorgeous and intricately designed as time goes by. Whether it is colourful or elegant pieces such as peach, pink, and burgundy, or ones which include additional decorations from nature including pine cones and other greenery, these bridal arrangements are definitely going to be highly visible in the upcoming cold-weather weddings.
Hot Chocolate Bars
There is something about the flavor and feeling of hot chocolate in the winter that makes even the most fun events a little bit better. Plus, with all of the options that go with it, whipped cream,
honey, marshmallows, and Bailey’s Irish Cream or Kahlua for the adults, you will see why this is the perfect little treat to any wedding celebration.
Let their be light
Do you have an outside space to allow some sparklers?
Pop a basket of blankets and a bucket of sparklers by the door and encourage your guests to head out doors to capture a fun moment as the night falls.
If the temperatures are set to drop for your big day then add a cape or custom leather biker jacket to your bridal look.
Planning for an outer layer from the outset will reduce the stress and also prevent you becoming your something blue!
Whether you are having an upscale, ultra-formal affair or something more casual and laid back, even a themed event such a fantasy inspired wedding, by planning all the extra special touches it will help you relax safe in the knowledge that you’ve made it the best day it could possibly be.
